The Mediterranean Society of Comparative Education (MESCE) has been created in Catania (Italy) as result of a conference on “Comparative Education in the Mediterranean” on 4th-6th March 2004, organized by Giovanni Pampanini (see the brief C.V. and his activities at the curriculum page).

The MESCE is a Member Society of the World Council of Comparative Education Societies.

The fee is 10 euro per year.

The Bulletin of the MESCE is hosted by the Mediterranean Journal of Educational Studies, University of Malta (Ed. Prof. R. Sultana).

The official languages of the ME.S.C.E.: Arabic; English; French; Italian.
